The project was launched by a small group of tech reviewers and cybersecurity enthusiasts who kept noticing the same pattern — social media ads and viral products making huge promises with little to no proof. Many of these were designed to trick people into spending money on poor-quality or completely fake products. Scamtok was built to stop that — by exposing what’s real and what’s not.
